Youth Participation in the creation of the final outcomes

We are involving young people and professionals in the creation of the outcomes of InnerWorlds

One of the principles of this project is involvement of all the target groups in the process of creation of learning materials and the game itself.
To achieve better results and a useful end product, we are delivering co-creational workshops in all the countries of the project, together with the questionnaires we conducted with adults (trainers, parents, youth workers) and adolescents on reporting of mental health problems.

Adolescents in Spain (left) and Austria (right) testing games and learning about game mechanics. We collect valuable feedback on how to create our mental health game.

Equipping youth leaders for the local actions

We have involved 24 youth workers and professionals from the participating institutions in the Learning Teaching and Training Activity at the University of Jaume I in Castellon, Spain, to prepare them for the further steps of the project, where they take an active role locally.
Through non-formal education and lectures from professionals from the University, we tackled basic game design, misconceptions about games, but also meantal health concepts and reviewed the outcomes of the questionaires and the co-creation workshops.
